PADUCAH -   "The Evil Community of Talon Falls" (3 haunts in one location: Talon Falls, the Dead End Haunted House, and Pirates of the Dead End).  Begins at 6:30pm this Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday and is located at 2932 State Route 849 West in Melber. FANCY FARM-"The Industrial Slaughterhouse".  Located on Highway 80 west in Fancy Farm; follow the signs. Begins at dusk this Friday and Saturday. Go to theindustrialslaughterhouse.com for directions and prices.

 

FARMINGTON-"Freddy's Nightmare". 39 Hawkshaw Street(look for signs). Opens at 7pm and runs now thru Saturday. Admission is $10 for adults and $7 for children. Group rates available. Proceeds benefiting Mayfield-Graves County Schools Christmas Assitance program.

 

SMITHLAND-"House of Horror". Located at 914 Heater Store Road in Smithland. Begins at dusk this Friday and Saturday. Go to http://www.myspace.com/smithlandhouseofhorror for directions and prices.

 

MURRAY-"Haunted Corn Maze". Located at Pullen Farms in Murray. Open this Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 8 to 11pm. Park your vehicle at the Murray State parking lot next to the old fire station on 16th street and a shuttle will take you to the maze. Call (270)809-6591 for more information.

Market House Theater's "River City Ghost Tour-This Thursday and Friday starting at 6pm and 6:30 at Market House Theater in downtown Paducah. Take a tour of Paducah's most haunted locations! Who knows, you might even see a ghost! Click here for ticket information and times...

 

Haunted House of Hoops-Tonight from 6 to 7:30pm inside the Marshall County High School Gym. Enjoy Halloween fun and games! Come dressed in your Halloween costume and be greeted by the MCHS Boys and Girls Basketball teams as they hand out candy! Get your picture taken with your favorite Marshall for $1!

 

Trail of Treats-Friday night from 6 to 8pm in Murray. This event was originally scheduled to take place at the Murray city park. However, due to inclement weather, the Trail of Treats has been moved to Cutchen Fieldhouse, aka Racer Arena, on the campus of Murray State University.

 

Octoberfest-Saturday at the Paducah Church of the Nazarene. There will be games and food in addition to the community wide Pumpkin Carving and Pumpkin Painting contests. There is a $2 entry fee for the contests. Proceeds will benefit area teens. For more information contact Kimberly at 270-210-3511.

 

Fall Fest 2009-Saturday evening from 4 to 7pm at Heartland Worship Center in Paducah. Families in the community are invited to come and enjoy the festivities-all free. The afternoon's activities include inflatable games, trunk or treat, hot dog and chili supper, hay rides, candy and much more. Children must be accompanied by an adult and no scary costumes - please. Harrah's Halloween Bash-Saturday night from 8pm to midnight inside Harrah's Riverfront Events Center in Metropolis. Costume contest with $1000 in cash prizes, music and drink specials. Go to http://www.harrahsmetropolis.com for more information.
